| Colin and his friend Wendy were friends forever. They enjoyed the open road and the wonderful trips his motorcycle provided. Sadly, on a black night in the Italian Dolomites on Sept. 22, 2009 riding with close friends, a tragic accident ended 3 people’s lives, and left one seriously injured, but alive. Colin and Wendy left this life doing what they loved, touring on their Venture. It is very difficult to understand how such a tragic accident like this could happen. It makes all of us stop and think how so precious life is, and how important friends become. |
| Colin was a motorcycle shop owner, and very passionate about his craft. He had strong and deep knowledge of the Yamaha Venture because that was his bike. The knowledge he retained helped many to repair and fix different problems they had over the years in several countries. If you had a small problem while touring, and you enjoyed his company, he would always stop to help to fix the problem. |
| Colin was a wonderful joyful man, Wendy a serious thoughtful petite woman, they loved each other, that was clear. They are both together in a better place and we all will miss them terribly. |
