Golden Scalloped Potatoes |
Author: Yamamoose Views: 4340 Votes: 1 |
One of my cold weather favorites: Golden Scalloped Potatoes 1 can Campbell's Cream of Celery Soup 1/3 Cup milk 4 Cups thinly sliced potatoes 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 Cup Shredded Cheese (I usually use Co-Jack) 1 Tbsp of butter Garlic salt, pepper, and parsley flakes Combine the soup, milk, and seasoning. In a buttered casserole dish layer the potatoes, onions, soup mixture and cheese alternately until filled. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. I usually uncover the dish for the last 15 minutes to allow a little crisping of the top layer. I usually add some cubed ham and a couple of slices of Velveeta to the mixture to supply a complete meal in a dish.
