Filling Master Cylinder Tip |
Author: Archives Views: 8978 Votes: 8 |
Filling Brake Master CylindersJust did a replace on all my fluids a week ago. One real handy tip is get a piece of battery drain hose and slip it over a NEW pump oil can filled with brake fluid (DOT-3). Open the master cylinder and open the drain plugs slightly and slip the hose over the end. Pump the oil can until the fluid fills back into the master cylinder. If the fluid in the lines is bad you can sop it up until it clears up. You can then go through the standard bleeding. Get a buddy. It helps. If you need any more help, please holler. I did front, rear and clutch in just under two hours. Don Barnes
