Towing the Venture

I'm considering buying a "Bike Buddy" which is a towing gizmo wherein the front wheel is put up on a platform and the rear wheel is on the ground. My question- is there a possibility of damage to the transmission, drive shaft, or rear end by towing the bike without the engine running? Thanks for your help.

Dan: I would not do it. I haven't looked at the book but this was asked about a goldwing, and Honda said no way. Tooo much can happen if it would somehow drop into gear or if the drive shaft failed ets. If ya gotta pull it get a small trailer. They can be had for couple hundred dollars and it would be better for you. If when you don't need anymore you can 1 sell or 2 convert to tow trailer for the bike.

Take care

Hank
