Removing The Mufflers


To start out you will want to remove the saddle bags as shown here.

The next step is to loosen the bolt on the clamp here. A 12mm is required.

The next bolt to remove is this one which holds the muffler to the bracket. A 14 mm is required.

Reinstalling is just the opposite. You should be fine reusing the gasket on the intake of the muffler as long as it isn't cut or banged up.
